  • Specifying warning triggers for evacuation and the usage of the probably maximum flood (PMF) shelter, based upon the available river and flood warning systems in the regional area supplied by Council.

  • Preparing emergency evacuation pathway plans.

Waterway Setback and Coastal Hazard Assessments

  • Demonstrating to Council that developments complies with the Coastal Erosion Hazard Overlay Code.

  • Confirmation that appropriate setbacks are in place for new structures.

  • Proposed modifications within the waterway setback and around the revetment wall will not affect conveyance or erosion in the channel for adjoining properties.

  • Future maintenance of the wall will be a possibility.

Treatment System Maintenance Management Plans

  • Plans for the ongoing routine maintenance and inspection schedules to ensure stormwater management systems continue to comply with Council standards and Development Approvals.

  • Dimensions for structures to build over or near existing underground pipes and civil engineering services. Compliance with Council and state policies, such as the Queensland Development Code Part MP1.4.
